There are more than 6,000 certified infectious disease physicians in the United States. To ensure that these specialists become and remain highly qualified, a rigorous board exam is required for both initial certification and periodic recertification. The Metro Foundation, in partnership with Rush University Medical Center, provides an intensive Annual Board Review to prepare these physicians for the exam. The course additionally serves those seeking continuing medical education (CME) credit.
In addition to being the largest course in the Midwest, this board review course is offered at a reduced rate to infectious disease fellows-in-training.
